Hello Games has finally announced the upcoming major update for No Man’s Sky which is called “Beyond”. The update is set to release on 14 August. It’ll introduce a Complete VR and Multiplayer experience. B. The update will be completely free on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Here is the Trailer by Hello Games.
The NMS Virtual Reality will be exclusive to PS4 and PC. Additionally, players with VR would also be allowed to play with non-VR players. The all-new multiplayer experience will allow players to play together. Hence, multiple players can explore the map together.
The games managing director Sean Murray stated “It includes a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together. Whilst this brings people together like never before and has many recognizable online elements, we don’t consider No Man’s Sky to be an MMO. It won’t require a subscription, won’t contain micro-transactions, and will be free for all existing players.
In my opinion, this will be a great extension of the game. No Man’s Sky fans showed a lot of disappointment after the Release. These additions would significantly improve the gameplay, thus it’s a good sign for Hello Games.
